Installing ManskiPort
How to install ManskiPort on your WordPress site. Takes about five minutes if you don’t read any of the screen text. Longer if you do. Both are valid.
Installing ManskiPort is identical to installing any other WordPress plugin. You do not need FTP, cPanel, or any command-line tools. If you can log into your WordPress dashboard, you can install this.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.0 or higher
- PHP 7.4 or higher (PHP 8.x recommended)
- A working WordPress install on any hosting provider
- A valid ManskiPort license key (you get this after purchase)
Step 1: Download the plugin zip
After purchasing, you’ll get an email with a download link. Click it. You’ll get a .zip file. Don’t unzip it. WordPress handles that part.
Step 2: Upload to WordPress
In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. Choose the zip file you downloaded and click Install Now.
Step 3: Activate
Click Activate Plugin after installation. You should see a new ManskiPort CRM menu appear in your dashboard sidebar.
Step 4: Enter your license key
Go to ManskiPort CRM > Portal Foundation. The setup wizard will walk you through entering your license key, choosing your portal mode, and creating the required pages. The whole setup wizard takes about 10 minutes.
Your license key is in your purchase confirmation email. It looks like
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. If you can’t find it, email me and I’ll resend it within a few hours.
That’s actually it
Once the setup wizard is done, ManskiPort automatically creates all the pages your clients will use. You don’t need to manually create any pages or add any shortcodes. The plugin handles that.
