Building Developer Intake Forms

Create intake forms for discovery calls, planning fees, and new project onboarding in developer mode.

Developer mode uses intake forms as standalone form posts rather than session-type questionnaires. That makes them reusable for different services and campaign pages.

What Developer Intake Forms Can Do

  • Collect discovery information
  • Capture project requirements
  • Charge a planning fee before submission
  • Attach a contract step
  • Include an appointment step
  • Redirect to a thank-you or booking page after submission

Typical Use Cases

  • Discovery call application
  • Website redesign questionnaire
  • Project estimate request
  • Paid planning session intake

Payment Before Submission

In developer mode, form settings can require payment before submission. This is useful for planning fees, strategy sessions, or audit requests where you do not want unpaid requests piling up.

Appointment Step

You can also include an appointment step that uses the calendar availability configured in Mankai. This keeps the inquiry and scheduling flow in the same place.

Contract Step

If the form is part of a more formal onboarding flow, you can attach a document template so the client reviews and signs during the same process.

Recommended Fields

  • Project type
  • Budget range
  • Target launch date
  • Current website URL
  • Primary goals
  • Required integrations
  • Content readiness
  • File upload for brand assets or references

Publishing

After saving, use the generated booking or form link for that intake form. Test it in a private window so you know the payment, appointment, and redirect logic all behave the way you expect.
