Booking Links, Contact Forms, and Gift Card Pages

Use the right public page and the right shortcode for booking, contact, and gift card flows.

Mankai uses a public booking page, optional contact form embeddings, and a dedicated gift card purchase page. These are separate from the logged-in portal.

Booking Page

Create a normal WordPress page and place

on it. The booking base slug defaults to book, so your public booking page is usually /book/.

How Booking Links Work

Photographer mode: /book/?type=session_key
Developer mode: /book/?form=FORM_ID

Session types can generate their own booking links automatically. Developer intake forms also generate direct links you can copy and use in marketing pages or emails.

Recommended Setup

Create one main booking page
Create one gift card page
Only embed the contact form where you actually want new inquiries
Keep booking page copy focused and short

After Submission Redirects

You can set a default redirect URL in booking settings and override it per form where needed. This is useful for thank-you pages, scheduling pages, or onboarding instructions.
